Distribution:

Central and Southern Paraguay; extreme S-Mato Grosso, Brazil

Description:

Length: 72 cm
Plumage a greenish-greyish blue in general. Head and wings more bluish. Periophthalmic ring and naked skin patches besides the lower mandible yellow. Underparts of tailfeathers brownish-black.

Legs brownish black
Iris dark brown

Habitat:

Rainforests of swampy riverlands of the tropical and subtropical zone.
